UNITED SOCCER LEAGUE YTD: 4W-1L-1T (+10.28)<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:State><st1:place>California</st1:place></st1:State> at <st1:City><st1:place>SEATTLE</st1:place></st1:City> – The last time <st1:State><st1:place>California</st1:place></st1:State> actually managed to score a goal was on the 26th of July, in a 2-1 victory over <st1:State><st1:place>Minnesota</st1:place></st1:State>. Since that rare victory, 6 straight losses with 0 goals scored, and 7 goals allowed. Poor road record of 2W-6L-5T (10 GF, 17 GA) is thrown into the equation. <st1:City><st1:place>Seattle</st1:place></st1:City> – plain and simple – controls its destiny for the Championship. With one game in hand on <st1:City><st1:place>Montreal</st1:place></st1:City> and <st1:City><st1:place>Portland</st1:place></st1:City>, and two points behind in the standings, back-to-back victories will assure them of the title. <st1:City><st1:place>Seattle</st1:place></st1:City> at home has performed well, evidence of their 8W-3L-2T, 16 goals scored and 9 allowed. It is interesting to note that <st1:State><st1:place>California</st1:place></st1:State>’s last game played dates back to August 18th (1-0 loss at home to <st1:City><st1:place>Seattle</st1:place></st1:City>), so you wonder how sharp they will be on defense against a <st1:City><st1:place>Seattle</st1:place></st1:City> team which has excellent team speed.

gl, MA, I am on the same play.

thanks hm2.0, I truly respect everything you post.

I am I quite surprised, let me explain: Most of the times, you are usually going to get a USL fav. at -0.5. I have no problem with Seattle being -1, minus honest juice; but would have thought the realisitc action would have been on Cal at +1, and +130 minimum. Maybe it's USL factor, don't know, but in Serie A this has the equivalency of Inter being home to Siena, at -1 -165 or sometin. I just don't believe that Seattle (I wish I could watch more games of this team), could just go through the rhythm of trying to win a close 1-0 affair. So much is on the championship value of finishing first in this league, as playoff mode between the middle of the pack, leaves survivors juggling/scrambling for player substitution against the bigs in subsequent rounds. In all honesty, I hope I have some serious fun when the time comes.

Best of luck,

MA

MA, as I mentioned I only looked into this adn decided to make a wager due to the US Open Cup piquing my curiousity. I am still a neophyte to soccer wagering and soccer in general. So much is on my plate right now, but I will def. look into USL next season. Also, I have noticed your plays on the USL but just never bothered to check into the league until now.

Please share your thoughts on the upcoming playoffs when determined. gl2u.
